Evaluation Survey of the Nutrition Education and Mass Communication (NEMC) Project of Helen Keller International (1991)

The major objective of the evaluation was to document the benefits of the NEMC project by ascertaining changes from the benchmark parameters established in the 1990 baseline survey. As in the baseline survey, data in the evaluation survey were collected from four groups of women in two samples—a treatment sample and a comparison sample. The four groups of women interviewed were in the samples 

 

(i) Pregnant women, 

(ii) Mother of 0-6-month-old children, 

(iii) Mothers of 7-12-month-old children, and 

(iv) Mothers of 13-72-month-old children.
