The follow-up survey was undertaken:

• To measure the changes in the baseline parameters. 

The baseline survey had been undertaken in Trishal Upazila of Mymensingh District to obtain population-based estimates of demographic information on use of contraceptives. 

Mitra and Associates undertook the survey under a contract with the Johns Hopkins University and the Population Communication Services.
