The Matlab Reproductive Health Program (MRHP) was implemented by the ICDDR,B. The MRHP project received support from the Government of Japan under the Women in Development (WID) Program and it was executed by the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNIPOS).
The eligible respondents for the study were currently-married couples of 15 to 49-year-old. A total of 6,111 respondents were interviewed, of which 3,676 were women and 2,435 men.
