As part of the global research in the field of Health and Epidemiology, the major world-class research carried out by Mitra are including three rounds of Prospective Urban Rural Epidemiologic Study (PURE) since 2007; Korail Slum Study under Global Research Unit on Improving Health in Slums, NIHR-2019-2022; Multiple Indicator Cluster Surveys (MICS)-2098, 2096 and 2006; WHO World Health Survey-2002; and Community-Based Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC) to Prevent Neonatal and Infant Mortality (2001-2007) and many such researches of similar sorts are still being done by our skillful researchers.
