Bangladesh National Contraceptive Prevalence Survey (CPS, 1989)

Like the 1985 CPS, it also had a complex design and a voluminous workload involving interviews of about 18,000 households from two different samples—the sample of ever-married women below 50 years of age and samples of couples with wives aged below 50. The key findings report on the survey was published.

On a competitive bid, Mitra and Associates won the contract for the CPS awarded by the USAID, Dhaka.
