Midline Surveys for 3rd and 4th Cohorts for the Skills to Succeed Program in Bangladesh

Narrative Description of Project:   FHI 360 is a nonprofit human development organization dedicated to improving lives in lasting ways by advancing integrated, locally-driven solutions. Mitra and Associates (MAA) will conduct interviews under the direction of FHI 360 with paneled study participants in October/November 2018 and January 2019. In addition to this Mitra will also conduct 12 FGDs with paneled study participants each in October 2018, January, June and September 2019.

The Integrated for Youth Study is one activity supported by YouthPower Action. The study tests the theory that integrated workforce development (WfD) and sexual and reproductive health (SRH) programming yields greater impact than single-sector (WfD) programming alone.  As part of this activity, the Save the Children Skills to Succeed (S2S) program in Bangladesh will integrate SRH into its WfD program, so that YouthPower Action can conduct a study to examine the outcomes of youth participating in two study arms: workforce only, and workforce with SRH training. The accompanying impact evaluation randomizes the youth clubs receiving workforce or workforce and SRH to determine the causal impact of the integrated intervention (WfD+SRH) compared to the WfD only.
