The General objectives of the study cases was to provide a better understanding on the impact of the global financial crisis at household level; assess the extent of the impact of the financial crisis on a number of key indicators such as remittances, wages, employment and commodity prices affect the livelihoods of households; and propose actions to strengthen monitoring and response. The study was carried out through Focus Group Discussions (FGD). The survey was awarded and funded by WFP, Bangladesh.
