The topics of the analysis were:

• determinants of biases in reporting contraceptive use, 
• factors affecting availability of family planning services and supplies, 
• levels and differentials of fertility, 
• levels and differentials of infant and child mortality, 
• assessing the unmet needs of family planning, and 
• reasons for non-use of contraception

The analysis was undertaken as part of the 1983 CPS contract with USAID/Dhaka.
