Survey on Knowledge, Attitudes and Practices (KAP) of Mothers and Grandmothers with regard to Acute Respiratory Infections (ARI) in Children (1987)

The main purpose of the survey was to provide information to assist in: (i) the construction of health education interventions on ARI for families with small children, and (ii) the design of training packages on ARI for healthcare providers. About 9,000 mothers who have children below five years of age, and 600 grandmothers were interviewed in the survey.

 

Mitra and Associates was awarded the contract to conduct the survey by UNICEF, Dhaka.
