valuation of the Urban Component of the NGO Service Delivery Program (NSDP, 2003)

The broad objective of this evaluation project was to monitor and evaluate the USAID’s NGO Service Delivery Program (NSDP). For this purpose, a household survey was conducted over a nationally representative sample of about 10,000 households, in which data were collected from populations in the urban project intervention areas and in comparable areas. These data were collected to (1) monitor changes in the indicators specified in the USAID performance indicators between 2001 and 2003 and (2) evaluate the contribution of the UFHP project to any of these changes. The survey data were also processed by Mitra and Associates.

The evaluation project was commissioned by MEASURE EVALUATION Project, Carolina Population Center, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, USA and funded by the USAID.
